Support Candidates--Become a Candidate Support Provider (Facilitator)

Many NBCTs continue to be involved with NBC by supporting candidates. NBPTS calls these facilitators, Candidate Support Providers (CSPs). To assist NBCTs in becoming more confident in meeting various needs of candidate support, NBPTS has created a two-day training which can be requested or is available annually in the Albany Area. To access this training and obtain registration information. . Support Groups can be created by working with local Teacher Centers or contacting NYSUTs Education and Learning Trust. See workshops and institutes for registration. The next training will be held at the Rensserville Meeting Center on July 10-12, 2013. NBPTS has also rolled out a new on-line CSP training.
